This was a fun little project to get more comfortable building in React. Deck.gl overlays itself over your map and has features to create overlays on top of your map to help visualize data. I had originally build this with webpack but remade it in React with Mapbox to help with the slow rendering. All this was build from a create-react-app boiler plate
I was mostly just trying to have a go at drawing in CSS, but this turned into its own thing. Press the button to hear a song I like. Each month the album will change and when you load the page a song is randomly selected from that album to play
I have worked for Bolder for 2 years now and they gave me the opportunity to revamp their site. It was originally built out by a talented designer but used an old WP theme that had some dependencies that werenèt updated. Most of the original styling for the pages was taken from the old theme. Any New styling is thanks to Dee Harris (@deeharrisdesigns).
A beat the dealer game I made a while back. It doesnt scale for mobile, it was mostly just an excercise to create a deck of cards array in javascript that could be reused for multiple card games.
A poorly styled test of memory. This is another fun little JS excercise, it randomly pulls from an array then from that pick puts it in the next position. Once selected with its pair the two will be pulled from the DOM.
I am a software developer based out of Calgary AB. My intro into the world of programming started in first year engineering with an Introduction to problem solving with C. Since then I have been playing around with different languages, focusing mostly on JavaScript and various libraries and frameworks. Follow me onTwitchif you want to see me struggle at coding probles or play with different libraries.
